We are honored and equally excited to share the news that on 27th, February 2019, Bengaluru witnessed a mega event, an event where the miracle, Yulu’s Miracle was launched in the presence of N.A HARIS – MLA, Shanthinagar constituency, Mr. Ajay Seth – Managing Director – Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), Mr. Mahendra Jain  – Managing Director – Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) and Addl. Chief Secretary to Govt. Urban Development Dept., Government of Karnataka and R. K. Misra (Rajendra Misra, popularly known as “RK” or “Misra Ji”) who is an Indian politician. R.K.Misra was the winner of the Lead India campaign conducted by The Times of India in 2008, as the chief guests of the launch event.

Let us reveal to you the most awaited details of the miracle bike. Our new Electric Scooter, Miracle, is designed for Micro Mobility. It is the first-of-its-kind microlight vehicle in India and is intended to be a solution to the hassles of short distance commute, and a saving grace for the environment. The battery used in the electric scooter is a lithium battery. The battery is efficient enough to run up to 60 km in one full charge. There are 7 charging stations placed around Indiranagar and MG Road in Bangalore. The bike comes with swappable batteries which are synonymous to hassle-free charging and usage. As the scooter is a fully electrical one, there is no requirement of any license plate or helmet while riding the bike; though it is not mandatory, we still advise to use one for the safety of our riders. The bike limits itself to 25kms, which is an added advantage in terms of the safety measures taken for the riders. The aim is to increase the connectivity of public transport. As the chief guests in their speech mentioned that the need of the hour is to make it available to all, increase the availability and accessibility. The chief guests mentioned how Bengaluru is blessed with a climate where it favors bicycling and walking. Everyone talked about how public transport is the cornerstone of the mobility strategy of the state. And hence, Yulu is one of the major contributors in the same.

With the statistics in place, all the chief guests were very appreciative of the work YULU bicycles have done in the past year. Coming back to Miracle scooters, the company is planning to operate currently in all the suburbs of Bengaluru and slowly move on to cities like Pune, Bhubaneshwar, and Navi Mumbai. Yulu is once again set to leave its mark in the field of urban mobility with its Miracle scooter!
